New robotics and AI elective launched

Grade 9–12 students can now take a year-long applied computing pathway with industry mentors.
The new applied computing pathway gives students in Grades 9 to 12 a year-long course covering electronics, embedded programming, data handling and the practical use of machine learning.
Each student completes two build projects and one research report, mentored by volunteers working in software and engineering.
The elective is taught in the upgraded computer lab, which now includes a dedicated robotics bench available after school.
